Our founder, Dr. Moneé Thomas-Martin is a board certified dermatologist who grew up in her aunt's hair salon, loving every second of it. In her practice she not only helps people with their skincare needs, but also helps them with issues of their hair and scalp. Therefore, being a dermatologist and a black woman with curly hair, she realized that there was a huge gap in the market for products that provide convenience for people with kinky/curly hair types. From that moment, Slik Hair Solutions was born.
People with kinks, curls, and coils deserve convenience too and that is our sole purpose and mission.
